Last June -7 to 9 - 217 delegates, from 46 countries, gathered in Debrecen (Hungary) for the INBO General Assembly. They were delegates from River Basin Organizations from all over the world .

The main topics were :

 - Prevention and management of extreme climate phenomena of floods and droughts
 - Transboundary basin management
 - Monitoring, monitoring networks, Overall water management problems
 - Preparation of action plans for basin organizations and their financing, etc.
 - Participation of water users and the public
 - Strategy, priority initiatives and projects for developing integrated water resources management at the level of river basins, support to the creation and strengthening of basin organizations over the world
